Shotcrete is a method of applying concrete projected at a high velocity primarily on to a vertical or overhead surface. The shotcrete process is one of the most economical and effective methods for concrete repair mainly due to the speed of the process and the elimination of formwork. Additionally, the hardened properties of concrete placed via the shotcrete process include a superior bond with concrete substrates, a lower w/c, and similar strengths when compared to a conventional cast-in-place concrete. This webinar will focus on the different aspects to consider from the specifiers point of view when creating a concrete repair specification for the shotcrete process. The webinar will also cover current shotcrete technologies, and include case studies to highlight where the shotcrete process is typically used over other concrete repair methods.
